Escola do Pentagrama is a space dedicated to the recovery, study, and living experience of ancestral knowledge. We were born out of a profound reverence for phenomenology and the wisdom woven by shamanic traditions and Afro-diasporic matrices. More than a learning environment, we are a point of convergence where the sacred manifests through the study of the forces of nature and the spirit.

We believe spirituality is not just a belief, but a living language that echoes from the forests and crossroads into our present time.

Our Approach:

Our teaching method is based the mindful observation and direct experience of mysteries. We don't just read about magic; we understand it through the breath of the wind, the transformative power of the waters, and the strength of the earth. We study symbols, sacred geometries, herbalism, Hermetic Laws, Modern Esotericism and ritualistic tools as keys to decoding the universe that surrounds us.

We dive deep into the roots and evolution of spiritual matrices, tracing the fundamental parallels between Umbanda, the different nations of Candomblé (Bantu, Queto, Jeje), Palo, Santería, and Haitian Vodou. We understand that every sacred force—whether under the name of Exu, Lebá, or Eleguá; or as Oxumaré, Dã, or Bessém—is part of the same great tree of ancestral knowledge.
